Tandem Ops Ltd ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website, contact us, or use our services, and your rights over it. We are the "controller" of the personal data described here and comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
Tandem Ops Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales, website tandemops.uk. Contact our data lead: [email protected].
2. What we collect and why
- Enquiries & email: your name, email address, company and message, when you contact us or email us — to respond to your enquiry and provide our services.
- Client/service data: details needed to scope, deliver and support our automation projects (e.g. business requirements, contact details, tool access that you authorise).
- Website usage: basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) to keep the site secure and working. We do not run advertising trackers.
3. Legal basis
We process data where we have a lawful basis: (a) consent where you opt in; (b) performance of a contract to provide services you asked for; (c) legitimate interests to operate and market our business (e.g. responding to enquiries, business improvement), balanced against your rights; and (d) legal obligation where required by law.
4. Who we share data with
We only share data with trusted processors needed to run the service, under contract, and only for the purposes above — e.g. email/infrastructure providers (such as our email provider), website hosting, and, where applicable, AI/LLM providers used to deliver automations. Where we use AI providers to process data on our behalf, we require zero-retention or equivalent terms where available and disclose sub-processors to clients. We do not sell your data.
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it. Enquiries are kept for a reasonable period to deal with follow-ups; client project data for the life of the engagement plus any legal retention period.
6. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data (including encryption, access controls and credentials stored securely and never in chat). No method is 100% secure, but we aim for a high standard.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data; correct it; erase it; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We'll respond within one month.
8. Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk.
9. Cookies
This site uses only essential technical storage to function. We don't set marketing or advertising cookies.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page, with the date above.
